How locals do it
A modern 糕团 (sticky-rice cake) counter in the Jiu Guang basement. The 开运方糕 and 奶黄流心方糕 (custard-filled square cakes) are the orders; cheaper and easier than the old-town shops.
Don't get this wrong
It is a counter, not a café — buy and go. Sticky-rice cakes are heavy; a couple per person is plenty.
